Dear Members,

As we enter this festive season, it is time to reflect on a very eventful 2022 for our club.

This year we finally were able to release ourselves from the restrictions of Covid and boy did we do it! It ended up with teams in our underage, ladies, minors and men’s bringing massive pride to the club by winning their respective leagues and championships.

Congratulations to all players, mentors, sponsors and volunteers.

This is the year that we finally returned back to being ranked as one to the top clubs in the county with the return of our men’s team to the Senior ranks of Dublin football. It has taken us almost 20 years to get back and has come from hard work across all sections of the club. Well done everyone. Be proud.

Our Juvenile section continued to develop in 2022. However, unfortunately, there are headwinds in this section. The support of all parents is needed to help in the running and support of juvenile games. Please, for 2023, make it a goal to help out with the teams. We only need 6 hours of your time per year. Whether it’s picking up cones, washing jerseys or collection footballs, every little thing helps our kids.

Another highlight of the year was our club day. It was wonderful so see so many happy, and sun burnt faces during the day. The matches, post-game activities, music and food were amazing. Thanks to all who helped out.

Both myself, and Club Secretary Grainne Heneghan - would like to thank you for your valued support during 2022. We wish you and your families a safe and peaceful Christmas. Enjoy the break and the extra treats over the holidays.

Please take care, stay safe, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2023.

Le gach dea-ghuí

Aidan Conaty
