As you may be aware - we have been actively working on our lotto offering in recent months and weeks. We thought it might be useful to give you an overview of how our lotto works right now, give you some key information and tell you what we're working on.

Here are the changes that have been put in place in the last 2 weeks ...

• You will receive a reminder email about the lotto on Friday afternoons (currently time is set to afternoon - 1:30pm)
• The draw will take place at 10pm with a cut-off time of 9:45pm
• You will receive a reminder SMS 2 hours before at 8pm with a direct link to play
• When the draw runs - you will receive an SMS with the results
• The following weeks lotto will be run straight after the draw. You will receive an SMS triggered by this event also.

Here are a few key stats about our lotto ..

• 95% of our lotto revenue goes directly into the running of the club, 5% goes into building up the next lotto jackpot pot
• We currently have 190 'active' lotto supporters
• An average of 74 supporters play our lotto each week
• 26 of this average figure are legacy offline annual lotto users and should become more active in week 2 of September
• Our average weekly sales are €170 - €250
• We give back €60 in lucky dips each week
• There is currently no offline lotto but we're working on re-introducing this.

Here are a few of our targets ...

• We need to have more of our 'active' base of supporters - currently standing at 190 - playing weekly
• A key figure for us is our weekly supporters - currently at 74 - our aim is to have 150 'stable' weekly supporters by the end of 2021 - an increase in 15 per month

Please note that to avail of the full functionality of our lotto, we encourage you to be registered (register here - takes 2 minutes) which 90% of our supporters are - but just in case you've been playing as a guest up to now - please register.

Here's a few things you might not know about the lotto now ..

• You can now play as a guest - so if you have friends or family that you want to encourage playing - just send them to play, have them pick their numbers and choose the option 'Play as a Guest'. This feature was added to make it easier to play - but we would encourage all regular members to register.

Here's a few things in the pipeline we will be releasing in the next few weeks ...

• Offline 'Lotto Book' - we're very aware that our offline lotto is missed by many and the now that we're opening up as a society again - we are keen to take advantage of this and reintroduce some form of offline offering. Our online lotto has a feature called 'Lotto Book' where resellers can add 'guest' supporters to that we're keen to explore. With 'Lotto Books', we can start our offline lotto again - selling physical tickets on premise - then the re-seller inputs the buyers into their lotto book before the draw takes place each Sunday @10pm. We could also have re-sellers add buyers directly into their lotto book via their phone or ipad - loads of potential here.
• Support your team - you may notice when you go to play - you'll see an 'I Support ...' (or 'Supporting Team ...') dropdown with all our teams listed. We're working on an optional feature where you can channel your support to your specific team! We'll work out subsequently if there's a % of weekly sales that we can channel to these teams.

As has been the case since our last lotto win - this Sundays lotto (@10pm) stands at €10,000. Our lotto is and will always be one of our core veins of revenue to run the club and support our teams. Good luck! Play Now
