The excitement is building in St. Margaret’s as we count down to this weekend’s U15 Féile — one of the great rites of passage in Gaelic games. Féile isn’t just a competition; it’s a milestone, a memory-maker, and a moment these girls will carry with them long after the final whistle.
This year, we’re proud to host Lucan Sarsfields, Na Fianna and  St. Sylvesters, and the buzz around the club is electric.
Behind the scenes, an army of volunteers has been working tirelessly — led, of course, by the mighty Adrienne Lacey, who has kept us all on our toes and only mildly terrified in the best possible way.
Féile is never just about football. It’s about:
🍵 Tea poured by the gallon
🥪 Sandwiches made with love (and speed)
🛩️ Car park attendants directing traffic like air‑traffic controllers
🍬 Shopkeepers keeping the sugar levels dangerously high
🎽 Lace tiers, first aiders, referees, proud parents
🏐 Hard‑working, slightly nervous mentors
🔥 And of course… THE NEW GEAR
Tonight the squad received their Féile kit — tracksuits, training tops and socks — proudly sponsored by Danu Homecare and Hubert Madigan. The girls looked fantastic… once we convinced them to stand still for a photo.  There was some resistance........... apparently red faces, messy hair, and mascara‑less eyelashes are a national emergency.  But sure look — Féile glamour hits differently after a tough training session.
