After a drought longer than a Lent without chocolate, our Ladies 2nd Team has finally DONE IT — our first win since the season kicked off! 

🚑 The pitch looked more like a battlefield than a football field, with our older legends hobbling around like extras from Braveheart. Every stretch, twinge, and “I’ll be grand” was a testament to the war wounds they’ve proudly collected like loyalty points over the years. 🩹

🕺💃 And let’s not forget it was a Monday night fixture… perfect timing just after a weekend of “low-key” madness. Apparently, recovery time for bodies over 25 is now listed in weeks. Yet still — we prevailed.

👵👧 Our team's secret ingredient? A spicy blend of youth and experience. The young ones bring legs and pace.  The older crew bring grit, guile, and enough tape to hold together a minor medical clinic.

👀 As for our new management team — well, let’s just say they’d started to believe that winning was more of a fictional concept, but after last nights miracle, they’re smiling like it was all part of the master plan.

💪 To everyone who’s trained in hail (not many to be honest), played through pain, and stuck with it through the chaos - this win’s for you. Let’s enjoy it… before our next game and someone’s hamstring reminds most of us we’re not 21 anymore.
